Bellingcat’s contest puts art on display,
But robot-made entries are sent on their way.
The crowd votes on tees,
Keep designs clean, please—
It’s a sew-cial affair where the humans hold sway.

tl;drThe page is a merchandise design-contest announcement, not a news report. Its factual instructions invite original, non-AI submissions by October 2, 2026. Staff will shortlist designs for public voting, with winners notified by November 6 and offered merchandise featuring their designs. Detailed terms are linked, but the FAQ answers are collapsed and unreadable in the screenshots. Promotional language and unrelated article recommendations are excluded from this assessment.
deeper:The remaining contest instructions contain no discernible political position. The quality score reflects their usefulness as an announcement, not investigative journalism: deadlines, submission steps, selection criteria, and rewards are provided clearly. However, ownership and payment details cannot be assessed because the relevant FAQ answers and linked terms are not visible. Marketing claims are excluded rather than treated as evidence.
